Questions of freedom, agency and value

This page is designed to grow with dissertation work, papers, talks and works in progress.

Current focus

My work concerns questions at the intersection of ethics, political philosophy and social thought. I am particularly interested in freedom, moral agency, political authority and the relationship between philosophical concepts and social institutions.

Areas of interest

My wider interests include ethics, aesthetics, classical philosophy, German idealism, philosophy of science and philosophy of technology. These areas are connected by a concern with how philosophical concepts structure judgement, action and forms of collective life.

Future additions

This page can later include a dissertation abstract, works in progress, conference presentations, reading groups, publications and downloadable papers.
